Xeretec are Xerox’s largest partner in Europe providing managed print and production solutions to businesses large and small across the UK and Ireland.
Xeretec’s website was out of date. Many of the key selling areas required a user to download Flash player and there was a large quantity of text, including old tech jargon. The challenge, to deliver a detailed brand positioning and website project, to close the communication gap between Xeretec and their customers. They needed a website which said ‘we are the market leaders and this is what we do.’

We visited the sites of their competitors. They were all the same. So how to make them instantly stand out to make key decision-makers sit up and listen (read) without alienating them, or compromising the brand identity?
The solution was simple and effective. Addressing the homepage header area, for each slide we took an abstract image. Users were then directed to the two main areas of the business based on their business needs. This user-focused design ran through the remaining pages of the website, ensuring the communication was straight forward and honest. The brand identity was adhered to and enhanced with a bold new triangular visual treatment which set them apart from their competitors. With the web development, the main challenge was to translate the striking design into responsive development for multiple devices, whilst preserving Xeretec’s ability to edit the website via the content management system.
The solution came in two parts. Firstly, we audited the designs and content to establish the different visual modules or components needed to deliver the required range of pages. Once complete, we established the rules needed to ensure the triangular design features worked for the different combinations of visual module.
Secondly, we created the modules as editable elements within the Drupal content management system to provide Xeretec with a page builder solution, with guidance on combining the modules to deliver the triangular design.
Alongside the main development, we leveraged our integration skills to send contact information to their FileMaker CRM, pull in tweets via the Twitter API, and integrate their newsletter subscriptions with DotMailer.
