The app, a vital travel companion for safety, lacked user-friendly design. Our goal was to improve visual appeal and streamline information access and help Response24 deliver security services to their audiences through a redesigned, user-tested app.
After a thorough critique, navigation and instruction clarity emerged as key challenges. We addressed this by introducing a new bottom navigation bar for instant access to key functions and a top horizontal scrolling navigation for specific sections.
Testing played a crucial role, with over 40 participants engaging in specific tasks. Detailed metrics, video screen captures, hot spots, timeframes, and journey analysis informed the design process. This data-driven approach resulted in a clear, intuitive, and effective UI design for the app.
