A WordPress website for three distinct audiences, with HubSpot capability and flexible page-builder functionality.

We made Norland a powerful marketing website which saves them hours in agency spend - now they can easily create and manage their own content.

As the nanny agency and world-class early years higher education providers, the Norland reputation is difficult to have missed. Our task was to design and build an AA-accessible, mobile-responsive website which would echo this prestige and celebrate the new brand. Whilst also providing Norland with a sophisticated CMS to enable them to take control of their marketing through editing and automation. And ultimately, increase the number of CTA conversions through applications, callbacks and event bookings. All within a client-specified budget and timeframe.

Norland can now create a new page and choose from a suite of flexible modules to create good-looking, engaging content.

With three different audiences to satisfy – students, parents and businesses – the user personas, sitemap and wireframing foundation work was paramount to the success of this website. It ensured each audience was addressed appropriately, at the right time, and their importance on the site proportionate to the business share. Their overgrown sitemap was cut back to size to ensure all audiences could find what they were looking for quickly and easily.

Transitioning into the design – having recently undergone a rebrand, Norland looked to us to take this foundation a little further. Fuelled by Rouge bright ideas, Norland commissioned a third-party Illustrator to create a suite of Norland-specific etching illustrations, adding that final flourish of detail synonymous with the world-renowned Norland brand.

Graduates now seeking help, support and their first or next role can log in, see content tailored to their requirements all the while keeping up to date with all things Norland. Throughout the project, we worked alongside multiple third-party data and service providers – such as HubSpot, SendGrid and AccessRDB – to ensure the smooth transition of a job search, mail integration and application functionality from the old website to the new.

We were asked to achieve a number of targets with this website. Targets that Norland college needed as an organisation; AA accessible, mobile responsive, good looking, trackable, connected to the business, totally and utterly content manageable, and last (and most importantly) able to attract and manage enquiries from students, businesses and parents. Job done.
